"Pretty Soon You'll be Running"

HA.
I know right? His words, not mine! Even I have trouble believing this, but apparently it is true.  This is the high point of my appointment with Dr. D, let me explain further...

Yesterday I had my appointment with my specialist at 9:00 a.m., meaning we had to wake up at 7:00 a.m. to get there in time, but sleep means NOTHING when you are filled with anticipation.
I literlly count down the minutes untill my next doctors appoinment because he will be able to give me some news, about possible progress. .?

So yeah I walk in with my boot, (after X-rays of course! I am a regular after all..) and he moves my ankle around a bit and says my range of motion is great AND that I can start walking in a normal running shoe now.

Reaction Number One: "YAY!"
Reaction Number Two: "Holy crap on a stick, I don't think I can"

Hes letting my physio therapist do ANYTHING THEY WANT with my ankle.
Yeah.
I'm slightly frightened.
There is going to be massaging (which I am totally okay with) and something else called "Glides" (which I am frightened of, and will soon find out what they are/how painful they are and report faithfully back)

He also said that for about a year there will be swelling, (which really sucks, and I totally knew was going to happen ((I went shopping for 45 minutes walking on this thing and my ankle swelled up to the point that it looked like a random [and very unappetizing] doughnut was around my ankle and hurt like a b*tch!)) but as long as pain is minimal and I can walk I'll be pretty happy :D)

He also thought it would be pretty funny to crack a joke about the amount of radiation I have had in the last couple of months to be enough to set off metal detectors at air ports.
I know he gave me good news and all, but too far Dr. D., too far... lol.
:D
Today, is my little sisters prom, and it is raining. Perfect slippery conditions for me to fall and break another ankle while filming her prom parade for my parents.
But wouldn't that make this all more interesting? LOL
jokes.
Seriously if I break one more thing, I will be super pissed.
:]

Yesterday, I received some mail. No, not surprise letter mail, but some packages of stuff I ordered a while back online for myself because:
#1: They were Pretty :D
#2: I was kinda sad and thought I deserved some pretty things for when I can walk again
#3: Because I am in love with fashion. Seriously I never was before, I have no idea what happened, but since I started Uni I felt more grown up and my fashion sense appeared. Like magic.

MORE UPDATES, WITH PICTURES OF PRETTY THINGS AND FASHION STUFF.
YAY!
